The first few seasons of the show itself are well written and engaging, but seeing the context of the book mapped out and adding Stannis's portion, and knowing how many more characters are left out, I can't imagine what goes through GRRM's head when he comes up with this stuff. master story teller.

i remember when this show came out. i had HBO GO or wte it was called. i remember before watching it i played Skyrim a lot. Then i started watching and it reminded me so much of Skyrim. My ex girlfriend used to bitch about everything i did and she was super extra when it came time for a new episode of GOT 😆 Shed always come in the room when someone was fucking and would give me shit about it 😆 Then she happened to come in when one of the girls looked like she was being raped. she was like "Is this the kind of shit you like to watch? A teenage girl getting raped." so i had enough of it and was like "Yes i do. its the best. this is exactly why i watch it." Then after that id call her into the room to watch the fucked up parts of the show 😆 like the red wedding. and when Sansa got raped or a brutal kill or the scene when the witch or wte she gave birth to a ghost demon. the one that really creeped her out was when they burned the little girl. i started rooting for the Lannisters and said Cerces was my favorite character 😆 just to make her think i was fucked up. She actually started watching every episode with me at one point. She got pissed at me for laughing at the little girl burnt alive and i told her i was just acting and i did it cuz she gave me so much shit while i was just trying to watch my show. her reply was great. she told me that i am worse than Cerces 😆 🤣 i responded with "When You Play The Game Of Thrones, You Win Or You Die." 😆 🤣 she had no idea i quoted Cerces cuz she hadnt watched that season 😅

There's a scene in the first book where Sandor is taking Sansa back to the Red Keep after Hugh's death, and he tells her that Hugh didn't have his armor on right, and that the Mountain probably noticed that, and decided it was an easy excuse to murder him and make it look like an accident. That's further confirmation that the Mountain could have just killed Hugh because he felt like it.

I don't think Littlefinger had anything to do with Ser Hugh fighting The Mountain. I think he knew Ser Hugh was an arrogant little bastard and would rub a upstanding, morally sound man like Ned Stark the wrong way. Littlefinger was counting on that to arouse Ned's suspicions. I think it was just dumb luck that Hugh ended up fighting The Mountain and dying. Sometimes in life, for the bad guys, thinks just work out like that.
